Después de 2 años pude arreglar mi máquina! y terminar este quilt top con el pattern churn dash gigante.

After 2 years I finally got my machine fixed and I could finish this quilt top using the giant churn dash pattern.

So… my sewing machine is BROKEN 😥 so I have to finish this baby quilt yet. I miss sewing!! It’s very hard to find someone to fix it around here.

Mi máquina de coser está rota 😥 así que todavía no terminé esta quilt. Extraño coser!! Es muy difícil conseguir un técnico que repare máquinas por acá…

Baby blue quilt

Using the same pattern as the last quilt I made, with charm squares, I made this quilt with boy colors. Now I have to make the sandwich and quilt it 🙂 my favorite part.

Usando el mismo patrón de la última quilt que hice, con cuadrados de 5 pulgadas, hice esta quilt con colores para varón. Ahora tengo que hacer el sandwich y quiltear 🙂 mi parte preferida.

I finished the Vintage Modern baby quilt. I think it turned out pretty cute. It’s a square and the size is about 33 inches x 33 inches. I had some problems with my machine when I was binding it and I almost went crazy. I’m so glad I could finish it! I want to get a new machine 😦

Terminé la quilt de bebé Vintage Modern. Creo que quedó bastante linda. Es un cuadrado de aproximadamente 85 x 85 cm. Tuve algunos problemas con mi máquina cuando le estaba agregando el ribete y casi enloquezco. Estoy contenta de que pude terminarla.

Vintage modern baby quilt top

I took the idea from here http://kelbysews.blogspot.com.ar/p/finished-quilts.html … but then I realized I had the pattern on the Simplify book by Camille Roskelley… ok… anyway… I made it with a Vintage Modern charm pack (by Camille too). I need advice, what thread color should I use to quilt it? I’m thinking white thread and red on the bobbin (oh I’m thinking of a red backing) – but in my experience the bobbin thread shows up on the top. Should I use white for both? top and backing? What do you think? Any input is appreciated!

La idea para hacer esta quilt la tomé de acá http://kelbysews.blogspot.com.ar/p/finished-quilts.html… pero después de hacerla me di cuenta de que el patrón estaba en el libro de Camille Roskelley… Simplify!! Bueno… no importa… la hice con un charm pack de Vintage Modern (justamente de Camille). La duda que tengo, es de qué color hago el quilting? Estoy pensando blanco y rojo para la parte de la bobina (porque la parte de atrás va a ser roja), pero en mi experiencia el hilo de la bobina se ve en la parte de arriba. Qué piensan?

More 2013 Mystery BOM

Seguí con más bloques… hice 2 más del BOM de Fat Quarter Shop. No están perfectos pero son muy lindos!

I made 2 more blocks of the Fat Quarter Shop Mystery BOM. They didn’t turn out perfect but they’re very cute!

No estoy cosiendo mucho últimamente… pero ayer me puse a hacer el bloque nro 2 del Mystery BOM de Fat Quarter Shop – los bloques del año pasado eran más fáciles… pero la verdad que siempre son hermosos!

I haven’t been sewing much lately… but yesterday I made the Fat Quarter Shop Mystery BOM block number 2 – last year’s blocks were easier… but they are all beautiful.
