My january finish!! – Mi terminado de enero

I finished the Vintage Modern baby quilt. I think it turned out pretty cute. It’s a square and the size is about 33 inches x 33 inches. I had some problems with my machine when I was binding it and I almost went crazy. I’m so glad I could finish it! I want to get a new machine 😦

Terminé la quilt de bebé Vintage Modern. Creo que quedó bastante linda. Es un cuadrado de aproximadamente 85 x 85 cm. Tuve algunos problemas con mi máquina cuando le estaba agregando el ribete y casi enloquezco. Estoy contenta de que pude terminarla.

Charm squares baby quilt

Hace unos cuantos días terminé esta quilt, usando la colección Scoot, pero no tenía tiempo de sentarme a publicar en el blog.

Tengo muchas ganas de empezar varios proyectos nuevos pero poco tiempo!

I finished this baby quilt a few days ago, using the Scoot collection, but I didn’t have time to sit and post earlier.

Mi primera quilt – My first quilt

Bueno, la historia de mi primera quilt es sencilla… Mi hijo, Federico, se enfermó de varicela el día de mi cumpleaños número 30… así que con unos cuantos días de reposo por delante (en realidad fueron pocos porque está vacunado contra la varicela) – me puse a hacer esta quilt con el tutorial de Diary of a Quilter y usando telas que me regalaron… costo prácticamente 0! Hoy en día esta quilt está destruida, la usaron mis perros! 😦

So… the story of my first quilt is simple… My son, Federico, got sick with chickenpox on the day of my 30th birthday… so… with a few days of staying at home ahead (they weren’t so many because Fede is vaccinated against chickenpox) – I got started with this quilt, using the tutorial from Diary of a Quilter and using fabrics that were given to me as a present… the cost was practically 0! Today this quilt is destroyed, my dogs used it! 😦

Hice esta baby quilt para nena, con colores no tan tradicionales… nada de rosa… todos azules, celestes y lilas… Me encantó hacerla fue muy divertido… el patrón es de acá

I made this baby quilt for a baby girl… using non traditional colors… no pink… only blues, and purple… I loved making it…. it was so much fun! I took the pattern from here
